What an addition includes.
From foundation to final paint, everything lives under one contract — including the parts other contractors make you chase.
- Design, structural engineering and stamped drawings
- Permits, zoning variances and all inspections
- Foundation, framing, roofing matched to your home
- Full interior finish — electrical, HVAC, floors, paint

Space that looks original.
The best additions are invisible — trim, rooflines and floors that match like they've always been there.
Addition types
Three ways to add on.
Room Additions
Family rooms, primary suites and sunrooms bumped out from the existing footprint. Most add 200–500 square feet in 10–16 weeks.
Second Stories
Double your home without touching the yard. We engineer the existing structure, lift the roof and build up — then re-roof the whole house to match.
Garage Conversions
The fastest square footage you'll ever add: insulated, heated, finished space from an underused garage — with permits done right.
Addition FAQs
Good questions.
Will an addition look tacked-on?
Not ours. We match siding, brick, rooflines and trim profiles, and run flooring continuously from the old space into the new. Guests can't find the seam.
How long do permits take?
Typically 4–8 weeks in our service area, and we start the clock during design — not after. Engineering and drawings are included in your estimate.
Addition vs. moving — which is cheaper?
Once you add realtor fees, closing costs, moving and the premium for a bigger house, additions usually win by a wide margin. Our blog breaks down the math for local prices.
